In that time we’ve utilized a full range of construction methods and areas of expertise. ACC has been providing quality construction to South Jersey and Surrounding tri-state area since 2006.
ACC has an extensive list of residential, commercial, and retail clients. Although our history spans more than a century, some aspects of this industry have not changed. Typically, the clients main concern revolves around project schedule and budget. Conventional wisdom has it that first you hire an architect to design your building, then you take your plans out for competitive bidding to choose a builder. Experience has shown there’s often a better route.

American Custom Construction is a state licensed and fully insured construction company specializing in new construction and remodeling for both commercial and residential buildings. We have a reputation as one of South Jersey’s most respected construction companies. This reputation was built over the past 7 years by working closely with our clients, treating them like family, their home or business like it was our own, and providing exceptional results. Our services include general contracting consulting, home repairs, home construction, residential remodeling, commercial remodeling, luxury home building and any other required home improvement projects.

The State of NJ, passed a law in 2004 stating all ” Home Improvement Contractors” need to register with the Division of Consumer Affairs and provide proof of business liability at least in the amount $500,000. “Contractor” is a person engaged in the business of making or selling home improvements and includes a corporation, partnership, association or other form of business organization, etc. “Home Improvement” means the remodeling, altering, renovating, repairing, restoring, modernizing, moving, demolishing, or otherwise improving or modifying of the whole or any part of any residential, or non-commercial property. Also included insulation and conversion of commercial to residential property.
EXEMPTIONS TO THE LAW:
Any person registered pursuant to the “New Home Warranty and Builders Registration Act” P.L. 1977, c.467 (N.J.S.A. 46:3B-1) but only in conjunction with building a new home.

- One’s Own Home
- Buildings Owned by a Charity or Non-Profit Organization
- Any person regulated by the State as an architect, professional engineer, landscape architect, land surveyor, electrical contractor, master plumber, locksmith, burglar / fire alarm, or any other person in any other related profession requiring registration, certification, or licensor by the State, who is acting within the scope of practice of his profession.
Warranty
American Custom Construction, LLC warrants all labor performed and material installed at ACC construction or remodeling job sites, in accordance with the contract, drawings, specifications, alterations and additions thereto, for a period of (1) one year from date of installation. This warranty does not include normal wear and tear, and/or product abuse.
Under this warranty, ACC will be provided the opportunity to have one of its representatives assess any damage identified to be caused by ACC employees and/or material installed by ACC. If said damage is judged to be the fault of ACC workmanship and/or material, ACC will at no cost to the Owner repair or replace defective material. Standard product warranties will apply for materials purchased for project.

American Custom Construction is committed to maintaining its reputation for quality work and customer service by providing a healthy, safe, drug free workplace for its employees and the community which it serves. We want to make sure that you feel safe when it comes to your home, your family, your property or business. We take pride in instilling this philosophy.
ACC recognizes that its employees are its most important asset. Especially when it comes to safety of our crew and customers. Violation of this policy and related procedures may result in discipline, up to and including termination. ACC expects its employees to take responsibility and be accountable for making this commitment to themselves and the safety of their workplace.
TO ACHIEVE THIS GOAL, AMERICAN CUSTOM CONSTRUCTION STRICTLY PROHIBITS:
- The use, sale, manufacture, distribution, dispensing, and possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia;
- The abuse of prescription and/or over-the-counter (OTC) drugs;
- The use and/or abuse of alcohol, or reporting to work while under the influence of alcohol or any illegal drug, or with the odor of alcohol on the breath, or possession of alcoholic beverages while on company property, job sites (including training locations), while operating company or personal vehicles on company business, or while representing the company in an official capacity on or off the company premises.
