For this project our customers had many requests. They needed a mother-in-law suite that their mother could move into and feel right at home. They needed art studio space. They also wanted their mother-in-law suite to include a kitchenette, living area, bathroom, and bedroom. This was a tall order, but the team at ACC was ready for the challenge. We developed a plan and got to work.

To build our mother-in-law suite, we need to build out an additional 11 square feet. We decided to build this space off of the garage. To do this we had a foundation poured, framed the walls, insulated the walls, built a roof, and sided the new addition. Inside the addition we added a new bathroom in which we tiled, painted, added a new vanity, and added a new toilet. From there we built a kitchenette in which we installed brand new appliances and cabinets. We also installed all new hardwood flooring, new garage doors, added windows, sided the new addition, and finished everything off with fascia and soffits. The customers were extremely happy with the end result. Their mother-in-law will be thrilled to call this space home!
